Snake and Lizard have a unique friendship. They have their many differences, but they also really care about each other. The short vignettes in this book by New Zealand author Joy Cowley are perfect for young readers to read on their own or out loud with adults. It reminded me of the best parts of the George and Martha or Frog and Toad books - books about friends and the ups and downs of friendship.
