This chameleon just wants to fit in. He tries all sorts of colours, but he never seems to make the friend he's looking for. Follow him as he tries to find the perfect look to make him happy.This will be an amazing book to use in storytimes. There aren't a lot of words, just colours and labels of objects (sort of similar to Gravett's Orange Apple Pear Bear) in big, clear type. I think that chameleons are creatures that capture the imagination of children: they can change their appearance, they can hide in plain sight, they can create a whole new identity. It's not a surprise that I loved a book by Emily Gravett; I just hope that this book can help others to see how great her books are.
