Puns are the name of the game in this book by Candace Fleming. How punny? The Librarian is named Paige Turner. Each chapter shows a different version of an Aesop Fable, but updated and modernized, featuring middle school children. For me, a little of these stories went a long way, but they are amusing and cleverly written. It might be a good book for dramatizing, too, if anyone is looking for a book that could be adapted into skits or a play.Find it at IndieBound.
